About This Project

The Oral Health and Hygiene Project is aimed at educating children on how to keep their teeth, gums, tongue and clean. Oral Health and hygiene can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay and gum disease. Good teeth help children to be bold and confident. Poor oral health can have a detrimental effect on children’s quality of life. It makes children timid and eventually affect their performance at school, and later in life.

The goal of the Oral Health and Hygiene Project is to improve knowledge and encourage oral health behaviors that contribute to better oral health in children. We believe that, taking care of the mouth and maintaining good oral hygiene helps to prevent tooth decay, gum diseases and cancer of the lips in children.

Through this project, we teach children how to brush their teeth and ways to prevent tooth decay. We distribute free tooth brush and tooth paste to children. We have also developed an Oral Health and Hygiene Handbook that we distribute to the children freely to aid our education.

About our Oral Health and Hygiene Handbook

Our Oral Health and Hygiene Handbook have been carefully designed to make children appreciate the importance of oral health. It contains all the basic information that every child needs to know about oral health and hygiene.

For instance, basic things like how to brush your teeth have been colourfully illustrated to make every child watch and understand. The handbook is child friendly and we believe that through this resource children will cultivate a healthy oral habit that can last them through adulthood. We distribute this Handbook freely to children to aid our education on oral health and hygiene.
